Manchester City and Bayern Munich target Alexis Sanchez has revealed his agent is dealing with his current situation, and that he is only thinking about national team duty for now.
The Arsenal forward is in the papers day in, day out over being linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium this summer, but has remained pretty tight-lipped about where he might end up.
Sanchez has finally addressed rumours linking him with Guardiola’s City and German giants Bayern Munich, and he hasn’t given too much away. As reported by cooperativa.cl, he said: “The truth is that my agent will see it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to see what is best for me. I would like many things, but right now I only think about the national team.”
The Chilean was one of the standout players in the Premier League last season, scoring 24 goals and making 10 assists, but couldn’t quite propel the Gunners back into the top four – they missed out by a solitary point in the end as Liverpool claimed the final spot.
At times, Sanchez’s body language has prompted papers to run stories that there’s no way he’ll remain at the Emirates next season, but reports have also claimed he could stay to run down his contract and leave for free at the end of next season.
For now though, Sanchez will be on international duty with Chile and will take on Russia tomorrow, which could delay news about his next club for another week.
