Arsenal have officially announced their first signing of what is shaping up to be an important summer for the club after welcoming Bosnia & Herzegovina international left-back Sead Kolasinac to north London.
The 23-year-old has arrived as a free transfer from Schalke after letting his contract at the Veltins-Arena run down and has signed an unspecified ‘long-term’ contract with the Gunners.
Arsenal announced the deal in brilliantly original fashion on Tuesday morning, posting a ‘quiz’ for fans on Twitter to figure out.
The list of 10 Arsene Wenger signings included the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Freddie Ljungberg, Bacary Sagna and Andrei Arshavin among others, with supporters working out that the first letter of each name listed spelled out K O L A S I N A C.
Kolasinac will formally start life as an Arsenal player in July.
