Eden Hazard picked up Chelsea‘s Goal of the Season award on Monday evening and the winger took the opportunity to troll rival Arsenal players while picking up the prize.
The 26-year-old Belgian was handed the prestigious award for his sensational solo wondergoal in the his side’s 3-1 victory over the Gunners back in February.
Hazard sent Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscielny spinning on the way to his memorable effort and appeared to mock the duo at Chelsea’s ceremony in the aftermath of their FA Cup final defeat.
When asked how it felt to embarrass the likes of Coquelin and Koscielny during the jinking run, Hazard replied: ‘I don’t know. You need to ask them.
Arsenal were able to get the better of the Blues at Wembley last weekend with a 2-1 win over Antonio Conte’s side to claw back some dignity following a miserable campaign in Europe and the Premier League.
Goals from Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey were enough to give Arsene Wenger’s men their third FA Cup in four years.
