Lyon Slap Whopping £60m Price Tag on Star Striker as Arsenal Plot Their Summer Move

Arsenal have been told they must pay £48.7m by Lyon for hitman Alexandre Lacazette, with a further £10.2m in add-ons if they want to sign him.

According to the Telegraph, the clubs have already been in contact over the player, who is due to take to the field against England on Tuesday in Paris.

Arsenal have long been linked with the 26-year-old, and it looks like the Gunners could finally be in for him this summer.

Lacazette is expected to partner Monaco man Kylian Mbappe up front for Les Bleus, who has allegedly also been the subject of a bid from Arsenal – to the tune of £88.5m. They have also held a loose interest in Tottenham target Thomas Lemar.

Lyon have accepted the fact that they could lose Lacazette this summer at long last, with the player having been with the club for the entirety of his professional career so far.

Apparently Arsene Wenger met with Lacazette’s representatives during Euro 2016, and so the Gunners boss can be credited with some serious work if he manages to pull the potential deal off.

The striker has also been targeted by the likes of West Ham and Liverpool this summer, and is widely expected to leave the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, where he is currently the club’s best-paid player.
